SYS-04 — Flake Broadcast System

Industrial Blue

Industrial Blue is built for environments that mean business. A deep cobalt-blue flake palette over a tinted epoxy base delivers an unmistakably bold floor that holds up under heavy forklift traffic, chemical exposure, and daily abuse. The added anti-slip aggregate in the topcoat makes it OSHA-friendly, and the high-build thickness handles the demands of true industrial use.

Installation Process

HOW IT'S INSTALLED

01
Diamond Grinding
We mechanically grind the concrete surface to an ICRI CSP-3 profile using industrial diamond tooling. This removes surface contaminants and creates the ideal anchor profile for the epoxy.
02
Surface Profiling & Repair
Cracks, spalls, and control joints are filled with polyurea joint filler and ground flush. Moisture readings are taken to ensure the substrate is within acceptable limits before coating.
03
100% Solids Epoxy Base Coat
A commercial-grade, 100% solids epoxy base coat is mixed and rolled onto the prepared surface. No solvents, no water — pure resin and hardener that cures to a hard, dense film.
04
Full-Broadcast Flake
Color flakes are broadcast to rejection (full saturation) into the wet base coat, creating complete coverage and a uniform texture. Excess flake is blown off and swept once cured.
05
Topcoat Application
A UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat is rolled over the flake layer, locking in the color and providing chemical resistance, impact resistance, and a long-lasting sheen.
06
Cure & Inspection
The floor is walkable within 24 hours and ready for vehicle traffic in 72 hours. We perform a final inspection before leaving the site, and your 10-year warranty starts from day one.
